“…You who listen to prayer,
To You all living creatures come…” Psalm 65:3(2) CJB
“…The eyes of all are looking to you;
You give them their food at the right time.
You open Your hand
and satisfy the desire of every living thing…” Psalm 145:15-16 CJB
May the first act of each day be to acknowledge You Father… cloth ourselves with You as with a cloak…an act of acknowledgement that we are totally dependent and are putting our trust…totally on You.
May we not get so hurried and ahead of ourselves that at some point we find ourselves… by ourselves…
And looking around… looking back through to the beginning hours… see You standing there… watching our backs… and waiting… or worse… having forgotten You altogether.
May what we are about not so fill our minds and spur us to movement that we forget to take with us, lean on and draw on… Your calm and steadiness…
…such that we cannot… without a distracted mind… tolerate a pause… an interruption to our flow… for anxiousness of all that needs to be done and worry that it won’t be.
May we be about our business… with a peaceful spirit… with seriousness and focus… with humor…and with room for pauses of awareness that You are near… wrapped around us… and feel the well being that being yoked to… and lead by… You… fills us with… and we are strengthened by.
To You who listens to prayer we come…to Your open hand… for the satisfaction of our desire to do well… in Your eyes and win Your favor.
In Yeshua’s name we pray Dear Father,
Amen
