“For He knoweth our frame;
He remembereth that we are dust.
As for man, his days are like grass;
as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone;
and the place thereof shall know it no more.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting…” Psalm 103:14-17
For indeed You do know our frame Father. It was You who took dust and gave it form, breathed into that form life and a unique person.
You indeed do know the briefness and frailty of that frame… and person.
Just as grass and flowers carpet and beautify the earth… for a season… it is brief.
And we thank You Father for those tender blades of grass, lush and soft… those flowers that bloom and are fragrant with the scent of friendliness and good humor… comforters and encouragers, those with loving kindness… who put into action the love You call upon us all to execute one to another.
In this brief season those living souls flourish, their time passes and they are gone.
We that were close will remember but with time all that is of this world forgets them…indeed soon, they are unknown by any that follow.
But Your mercy…and love…is from everlasting-to-everlasting Father…
Hallelujah… we whisper… hushed and softly… to You.
And those good things done, those of Your approving Father, do not perish… do not cease to exist…nor does the saint. You do not forget we praise… and pray.
The scent of Your goodness that blessed us through those who walked with You… Father may it linger on… carried like pollen from Your lovely flowers… on the winds of time… a breeze of blessing from out of nowhere… bathing the lives of those yet to come... germinating, growing, flowering, flourishing and passed on… right up to the end…until the last of You r created beings.
May we too, in the season You have given, bless and may the spirit of that blessing live on to touch the lives of those…even those in the tomorrows… who do not know us.
May You be glorified Father…
Humbly, thankfully, and in heartfelt love for You… we pray...
In Yeshua’s name…
Amen.
