“…Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning…
…Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing;
Thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness,
to the end that
my glory may sing praise to Thee, and not be silent…” Psalm 30:5,11-12 AKJV
Out of the darkness of persecution is birthed a season of light and joy.
We have something to be glad about now because others before us
refused, at great sacrifice, to be silent in their praise of You.
You honored that sacrifice and their faithfulness and gave victory.
Many generations have come and gone since then…
each with their own battles, sacrifices, victories and celebrations.
And Your praises are still being sung.
Now it is our turn Father…
We are dedicated to You,
to walking with You,
to being a people who love You and glorify You,
and desire to live in obedience to You.
Honor our faithfulness Father,
and give us victory against the Enemy please…
That we and the generations to follow, may freely celebrate Festival of Lights…
dancing, singing and being glad…
praising You and not being silent.
In Yeshua’s name we pray
Amen.
